Welcome to our new series where we introduce the team behind the work. Find out what they love about their careers and just as importantly what makes them tick outside of work too.

Rob manages all of our photographers around the country – he covers all the logistics, the creative and skillset development of the team, and makes sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. When he’s good, we occasionally let him out in the wild to take photos of some of our ultra-prime properties, as he’s one of our best and longest-serving photographers.

What do you enjoy the most about your job?

The incredible creative skills that our wonderful team show on a daily basis – it blows my mind how good our work is!

Any guilty pleasures?

I think everyone in the office has seen my ears prick up at the mention of cake.

What’s your earliest Fourwalls memory?

Interviewing with Owen back in 2017 and spending more time talking about bicycles than the actual interview!

What do your friends and family think you do at work?

Ha, probably taking photos in the mansions and penthouses of billionaires… Some days this is genuinely the case, though most days are spent supporting and guiding my amazing team.

What book changed your life?

White Noise by Don DeLillo – I ended up travelling around the USA in search of ‘the most photographed barn in America’, which led to me picking up a camera.

If you won the lottery, what would you do first?

Get some golf lessons!

What career advice would you give your younger self?

Throw everything you have at everything you do.

What is your definition of success?

Happiness, contentment, and companionship.

Email, Teams message or phone call – what do you prefer?

Am I allowed to say ‘in person’?

What training or qualifications have you needed for your role?

Funnily enough I am an entirely self-taught photographer without any formal qualifications! I was super passionate about photography and loved shooting creatively, so I googled tips and watched YouTube videos, and have learned a lot visually from the work of others. For floor plans I was guided by the immensely supportive Vivienne and have done RICS courses too, plus DEA courses for EPCs.
